Plantation Original Dark is produced in Trinidad and Tobago, it is an early blend of young dark rums aged first in ex-bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of the Caribbean. The blend is then transported to France, where it ages with 10 to 15 year old rums from Jamaica.
During aging, flavor harmonization and the creation of rich aromatic components occur. Plantation is known for its attention to detail during the production process, which is reflected in the exceptional quality of this rum. Double aging is characteristic of the Plantation rum brand.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40 % and the bottle volume is 0.7 l.
We recommend serving with a cube of ice or as part of mixed drinks such as Daiquiri or Mai Tai.
