Plantation O.F.T.D. Overproof

Plantation O.F.T.D. Overproof is a very tasty but really strong blended rum with 69 % alcohol content. It is made from a mixture of molasses rums that have been distilled in Guyana, Jamaica and Barbados. Molasses was fermented for 72 hours in Barbados, 1 week in Guyana and 2 weeks in Jamaica.

Alexandre Gabriel oversaw the entire distillation process. Abbreviation O.F.T.D. means Old Fashioned Traditional Dark. Rum is contained in a very nice bottle with a black-red label. It goes well with a variety of cocktails.

Color: mahogany with brown highlights
Aroma: sugar cane, cloves, cinnamon, oak, wood
Taste: warm, cloves, wood, caramel, apple, bananas, pastries
Finish: long, hot-sweet, sharp, smoke, pepper, brown sugar
