Plantation O.F.T.D. Overproof

Plantation O.F.T.D. Overproof is a very tasty but truly strong blended rum with 69 % alcohol content. It is made from a blend of molasses rums that were distilled in Guyana, Jamaica, and Barbados. The molasses fermented for 72 hours in Barbados, 1 week in Guyana, and 2 weeks in Jamaica.

The entire distillation process was overseen by Alexandre Gabriel. The abbreviation O.F.T.D. stands for Old Fashioned Traditional Dark. The rum comes in a very nice bottle with a black and red label. It pairs excellently with various cocktails.

Color: mahogany with brown reflections
Aroma: sugar cane, cloves, cinnamon, oak, wood
Taste: warming, cloves, wood, caramel, apple, bananas, pastry
Finish: long, bittersweet, sharp, smoke, spice, brown sugar
