Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial 12%
Quite an interesting and exciting release from the masters of champagne, Moët & Chandon. Their Ice Impérial Champagne is specially made for sipping with ice!
The base is primarily Pinot Noir (40-50 %), but you'll also find a good portion of Pinot Meunier (30-40 %) and a touch of Chardonnay (10-20 %). Pour it over ice and garnish with a mint leaf or a lime spiral for a refreshing long drink.
A new champagne experience combining fun, fresh, and free feelings, while staying true to the Moët & Chandon style, characterized by bright fruitiness, seductive taste, and elegant maturity.
Visually, the wine has a dense color, deep gold with amber reflections. On the nose, we can sense an intense fruit bouquet, mainly tropical fruits (mango, guava). This is followed by a splendid aroma of stone fruits (nectarines) and an original note of raspberries.
On the palate, the wine is broad, meaty, overflowing with the sensual taste of fresh fruit salad, captivating sweetness of caramel and jelly, refreshing acidity of grapefruit and ginger.
Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 by French wine merchant Claude Moët in Épernay, located in the heart of the Champagne region of France. Claude Moët, coming from a family with a long tradition in the wine trade, quickly recognized the potential of sparkling wines from this region.
In 1971, Moët & Chandon merged with another luxury brand, Hennessy, and a year later with the fashion house Louis Vuitton, creating the conglomerate LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), which is now one of the largest luxury goods companies in the world.
