This 20-year Mexican rum Mocambo was produced in Córdoba by Licores Veracruz. Edicion de Arte. It comes from a single barrel and ages in European white oak barrels for 20 years.
The bottle is covered in bark, designed by Victor Fernández, who was inspired by traditional craftsmanship techniques dating back to the Spanish conquest in the 16th century. Each bottle design is unique and the volume is 0.5 l.
The rum offers a rich mahogany color with copper-amber reflections, high density, revealing a rich structure. The aroma is deep and complex, with dominant notes of vanilla, caramel, sweet nuts like almonds and hazelnuts, and we can also sense notes of tobacco, old wood, and dried fruits – plums, raisins, and figs.
The taste is elegantly balanced, with a feeling of ripe oak depth, earthiness, tobacco leaves, and a subtle touch of cigar, the finish brings a dry, suede-nutty conclusion.
Mocambo Edición de Arte 20-year-old is a highly valued rum, often considered a drink for true connoisseurs and rum lovers. It is a product known for its quality and uniqueness in the world of rum. We recommend serving it neat with a cube of ice.
