Mocambo is a prestigious Mexican rum brand produced in the city of Córdoba in the state of Veracruz by Licores Veracruz, which has roots dating back to 1896. The current name was chosen by the company about 75 years ago and since then it has been one of the main initiators of the renaissance of quality rums in Mexico.

The brand focuses significantly on the production of premium rums, with the most famous product being Mocambo 20 Años Edición Arte – a single-cask rum aged for 20 years in European oak barrels, stored in a humid subtropical environment at an altitude of 900 m above sea level.

Mocambo combines modern production with artisanal aesthetics – the Edición Arte bottles are hand-wrapped in traditional amate fibers, feature artistic design by Víctor Fernández and reference Olmec pre-Columbian culture. Each bottle is unique and crafted as an artistic object, which the brand confirms as a “homage to old pre-Columbian techniques.”
