This organic sparkling wine from the D.O. Cava in Catalonia is a perfect example of traditional Cava production with an emphasis on ecological values. Masia Salat Cava Organic Brut is made from indigenous varieties of Macabeo, Xarello, and Parellada, with grapes sourced from its own vineyards, where only natural organic fertilizers are used.
The wine underwent secondary fermentation in the bottle and aged for a minimum of 14 months on the lees, which adds depth and a fine structure. It contains only 0.5 g/l of residual sugar, highlighting its freshness and purity.
In appearance, it boasts a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections and fine bubbles. The aroma is dominated by the freshness of green apple and pear, complemented by notes of dried nuts, fresh bread, and subtle hints of Mediterranean herbs.
