Masia Salat is a brand of organic sparkling wines that represents traditional values and modern production methods in the Penedès region, known for its long-standing tradition of Cava production. The wines are made exclusively from grapes grown without chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides, with an emphasis on environmental protection.

Masia Salat wines are produced by the winery Josep Masachs, which has its roots since 1920. Founder Josep Masachs Llorach cultivated grapes in Vilafranca del Penedès, and his son began producing wines professionally in the 1950s. Today, the family business is run by the fourth generation, which combines family values with ecological and innovative approaches.

The grapes for Masia Salat Cava come exclusively from organic vineyards, where no pesticides or herbicides are used – only natural fertilizers. The base consists of a blend of classic varieties Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Parellada (in varying proportions depending on the style). 
The wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and ages on the lees for a minimum of 10 - 14 months depending on the variant (Brut: ~10, Brut Nature: ~14 months).
