Ron Malecon, 25, is distilled in Panama and matured for half a century in oak barrels. Due to its age, it is probably distilled in Varela Hermanos, a distillery known for the production of rum Ron Abuelo, which is distilled under the supervision of the revered master Don Pancho Fernandez.
Color: dark, shiny copper shade.
Aroma: carries tempting tones of stone, oak and freshly baked fruit cake in the cargo hold of a wooden ship.
Taste: above-standard, absolute fruit flavor.
Conclusion: brittle, Cuban rum style with a bit of eucalyptus
In general, it is an excellent rum suitable for cigarettes - just a pleasure to drink.
