MacNair's and The GlenAllachie distilleries have joined forces to produce this limited 15-year Exploration Panama rum. Volcanic soil is most ideal for the growth of a key component used in the production of this rum: sugar cane. This rum is distilled from Panamanian molasses.
It first matured in American oak barrels in a tropical Panamanian climate. He was subsequently transported to a much colder climate, located in The GlenAllachie, Scotland, in the Speyside region. There he began more than a 2-year maturation phase in ex-wine, ex-bourbon and virgin oak barrels. Really satisfying and remarkable rum.
Only 2400 bottles were produced! Without the addition of dyes and cold filtration.
