Le Contesse Cabernet IGT Marca Trevigiana is a dry red Italian wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes grown in the Treviso wine region, Italy at an altitude of 40 m above sea level.
The wine is produced by fermenting the grapes along with the skins for 6-8 days at a controlled temperature. At the end of fermentation, it is separated from the skins and then aged in steel tanks for a minimum of 1 year. After bottling, it continues to mature in controlled conditions for several more months.
Color: ruby red
Aroma: winey, intense, slightly herbal with notes of red fruit and raspberries
bouquet: very pleasant, harmonious, and characteristic
Serve at a temperature of 18°C.
This wine has a lively taste that pairs excellently with roast beef, poultry, game, and aged cheeses.
