Labourdonnais Héritage is an exceptional agricole rum from the island of Mauritius, produced by Distillerie de Labourdonnais. This rum is distilled from fresh sugarcane juice grown on the estate's own plantations, Domaine de Labourdonnais, ensuring its authentic flavor and high quality.
Sugarcane is harvested from the Labourdonnais plantations and immediately processed into fresh juice, preserving its natural aroma and taste.
The fermented juice goes through a distillation column to obtain a pure distillate with the desired characteristics. The distillate ages in carefully selected oak barrels, which impart the rum's distinctive flavor and aromatic properties.
The rum's flavor is smooth and full, with dominant honey notes, citrus hints and a subtle touch of dark chocolate.
