Distillerie de Labourdonnais is located on a beautiful estate amidst fruit orchards and sugarcane fields in northern Mauritius.

This small gem in the Indian Ocean has a rich rum-making tradition. While a lot of industrial rum is produced in Mauritius, three traditional craft distilleries continue the French tradition of making distinctive and refined rums from pure sugarcane juice.

Labourdonnais was established in 2006 as a revival of the old “Rhumerie des Mascareignes.” It is the youngest of the craft distilleries, combining state-of-the-art techniques with tradition and know-how.

Labourdonnais rums are a perfect reflection of Mauritius. They are very accessible, extraordinarily diverse, and are rums straight from paradise!
