Legend has it that the ship carrying the largest amount of black rum ever transported from the Caribbean islands never reached its destination. During an attack by the Kraken on a merchant ship, the entire cargo of barrels of black rum fell into the sea, and thus the rum was named Kraken as a reminder of the undeniable strength and power of the legendary sea monster. There are many stories about this giant octopus attacking cargo ships, but none have been confirmed.
The rum Kraken Black Spiced Unknown Deep is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a drink with ginger beer and a splash of fresh lime juice.
