Knockando 18 Year Old + 2 Glasses
Knockando 18 Year Old is a whisky that comes from the Scottish Highlands, specifically the Speyside region. Knockando is a distinct style among other single malt whiskies, particularly prominent in Justerini and Brooks blends. The water used to produce the whisky comes from granite and flows through peat.
The whisky matured for 18 years in ex-sherry oak casks, which imparted a complex and smooth flavor.
Knockando was reopened in 1904 and forty-eight years later was purchased by J&B producers. Although a significant portion of production goes to blended whisky, the distillery has a relatively large capacity, so you can also find Knockando single malt whisky in retail stores.
The whisky is not bottled according to a calendar, but rather when the distillery manager believes it tastes best. The label includes both the distillation date and the bottling year.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 43%, and the volume is 0.7 l. The bottles are delivered in a stylish gift box along with two glasses.
