Knockando 18 Year Old + 2 glasses pack
Knockando 18 Year Old is a whisky that comes from the Scottish Highlands, Speyside region. Knockando is a distinct style among other malt whiskies, particularly prominent in the Justerini and Brooks blends. The water used to make the whisky comes from granite and flows through peat.
The whisky has been matured for 18 years in ex-sherry oak casks, giving it a complex and smooth flavour.
Knockando was reopened in 1904 and forty-eight years later it was bought by J&B Producers. Although much of the production goes into blended whiskies, the distillery has quite a large capacity, so you'll find Knockando malt whisky in retail outlets too.
The whisky is bottled not according to a calendar, but when the distillery manager thinks it tastes best. On the label, alongside the date of distillation, the year of bottling is also listed.
The bottles are filled at 43 % alcohol, the volume is 0,7 l. The bottles come in a stylish gift box along with two glasses.
