Knob Creek is a bourbon produced in small batches by the Jim Beam brand, distilled in a more traditional style. It is named after the area in Kentucky where Abraham Lincoln grew up, and it is said that the creek nearly claimed his life when he was swimming.
Aroma is quite spicy and sweet. You will find hints of melted salted butter on grain toast, as well as notes of pleasant oak warmth and a touch of rye with caramel sweetness. Taste is quite bold and full. Hints of cotton candy and nut oil, a touch of spice and dark chocolate, a bit of pepper and charred oak. Finish is long with a touch of dryness, nut oils, and vanilla spice.
