Joseph Cartron Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne Double Crème is a premium French liqueur from Burgundy, made from the finest variety of blackcurrants – Noir de Bourgogne.
These blackcurrants are grown on the slopes surrounding the Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy and are harvested at full ripeness in early summer. The liqueur has an alcohol content of 19% and is known for its intense aroma and rich flavor.
This liqueur is perfect for sipping over ice, as well as for making various cocktails. It is traditionally used in combination with white wine. It is also an excellent addition to culinary recipes and desserts.
Joseph Cartron, founded in 1882 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, is a family business specializing in the production of liqueurs and spirits from regional fruits. Their Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne Double Crème is considered the company's emblem and won a silver medal at the agricultural competition in 2018.
