Joseph Cartron Violette
Joseph Cartron Violette is a premium French liqueur from Burgundy that captures the delicate and elegant flavor of violets. Its production uses violet petals, from which essential oils are extracted. These oils are then processed into an aromatic paste, which is diluted in alcohol and distilled at low pressure in a small copper pot.
To this base, neutral distillate from sugar beets and crystalline sugar are added, creating a harmonious and balanced liqueur.
With an alcohol content of 20%, this liqueur is ideal for direct enjoyment, served chilled or over ice. It is also an excellent ingredient for cocktails, adding a unique floral aroma and complexity. It pairs particularly well with classic cocktails like the Aviation, or can be used to flavor desserts and ice cream.
Joseph Cartron, founded in 1882 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, is a family business with a rich tradition in distillation and liqueur production. Their Violette liqueur is a testament to their commitment to excellence and fidelity to traditional recipes, bringing the authentic taste of violets to the world of liqueurs.
