The renowned house of Hennessy, which has been perfecting its craft since 1765 in the heart of the Cognac region in France, has introduced the “X.O x Jean-Michel Othoniel” edition – a limited series in which the iconic Hennessy X.O cognac has been reimagined in a decanter designed by acclaimed French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel.

This edition reflects the philosophy of “raw material faceted by time-honored savoir-faire and Time” – raw materials shaped by maturity, tradition and craftsmanship.

The cognac, bottled at the classic 40 % ABV, is a blend of dozens of eaux-de-vie carefully matured in oak casks from the Petite Champagne and Fine Champagne regions. In terms of its flavour profile, this edition offers rich notes of candied fruit, spices, cocoa, toasted oak and a long, elegant finish.

The decanter is crafted as an artistic object – faceted glass, golden tones and a red detail reminiscent of a precious cut gemstone – making it suitable not only for tasting, but also as a collector’s piece.
