Habitation Velier Hampden 2019 LROK Ex-Sherry Cask is a real treasure from the famous Jamaican distillery Hampden and was created in collaboration with the famous Italian distillery Velier. This unique rum takes its name from the LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly) appellation, which represents a heavier profile with an ester content ranging from 200 to 400 ppm (parts per million).

It was aged in ex-sherry barrels, adding unmistakable depth and complexity. This rum offers an intense aromatic profile that is reminiscent of some single malt Scotches.

The influence of the sherry casks reveals rich autumnal aromas such as wood, dried fruits and subtle spice. Despite this elegant style, the characteristic Hampden empyreumatic notes that are appreciated by lovers of this distillery remain. The combination of sweet and smoky elements creates a harmonious and unforgettable taste experience.

Habitation Velier, created in 2015 under the direction of Luca Gargan, focuses on authentic and pure rums without added colouring, sugar or flavourings. Each bottle from this collection is crafted to capture the essence of the place it comes from and to pay tribute to artisanal excellence.

The bottles are bottled at a high alcohol content of up to 60,5 % with a volume of 0,7 l.
