Habitation Velier Foursquare 2013 12 Year Old is an exceptional Barbadian Pure Single Rum from the Foursquare distillery, released under the independent brand Habitation Velier. Rum is made from molasses, fermented using selected yeasts, and is distilled exclusively in pot still, which gives it a fuller, richer, and more pronounced character.

This edition follows the first Habitation Velier Foursquare, which was released in 2015 after two years of aging. The remaining stocks of the same rum continued to mature for another 10 years in a tropical climate, in high-quality 370-liter cognac barrels. The result is a 12-year-old rum with an exceptionally concentrated expression and an angel's share of over 60%.

On the palate, it feels robust, warming, and complex. Tropical aging in ex-cognac barrels imparts a rich woody structure, fruity depth, spicy notes, and a long finish. Habitation Velier Foursquare 2013 12 Year Old shines best when enjoyed neat, ideally sipped slowly to fully reveal its strength, concentration, and the character of Foursquare rum.
