Six Grapes has a seductive and rich aroma of ripe plums, cherries and tones of dark chocolate. The taste is complex with a perfect structure and a long lasting finish. It is one of the original blends of the Graham's port brand - a strong delicious wine from the same vineyards as the Graham's select port brands. It is mixed from a crop of two or three years and, when gently filtered and bottled, has an average of five to six years.
Six Grapes are bottled after about five years of maturation in barrels. It has a T-shaped closure, which means you don't need a corkscrew to open it, and if stored in a cool, dark place or refrigerator, it should stay fresh for up to two months. Serve it in a cup with a volume of at least six ounces so that you can appreciate its aromas. It goes very well with dark chocolate, but it is also excellent on its own as a refreshing dessert in a glass.
