Croft Distinction Special Reserve Port is a Port wine with vintage character, a blend of Port that has been aged in wood for 4 to 5 years to produce wines with more complexity than their younger counterparts. A port with an appealing, intense aroma and flavour of fresh fruit.
A premium reserve of excellent age and quality. Distinctive but silky flavour. Very consistent from bottle to bottle. No decanting required, no sediment. The bottles were filled at 20 % alcohol.
It comes from Portugal's Douro Valley. Store port upright and protect from light.
This port wine is usually served slightly chilled at a temperature of 14-16 °C. It is ideal as an aperitif, as an accompaniment to desserts, with television and with meals.
