Godet Antarctica is an extraordinary white cognac from France, inspired by an equally extraordinary voyage and breaking a world record. In March 2008, Jean Jacques Godet, along with 10 other members, set sail on a yacht towards Antarctica. Their journey culminated in anchoring on the Antarctic continent 70° south of the equator. Such a small yacht had never before reached a similar advanced level. The record was broken.
As a tribute to this achievement, the Godet winery created a unique Eaux de Vie inspired by the purity and beauty of Antarctica upon their return. Only Folle Blanche grape variety was used for distillation. The white color was achieved through a natural filtration process. The result is a cognac that is 99% cognac blend and 1% brandy. Aged in 100-year-old French oak barrels with the spirit of wine. Completely tannin-free. Delicate, sensual, delicious, and reflecting its icy counterpart.
Godet Antarctica is a well-balanced cognac with delightful notes of fruit, chamomile, orange blossoms, and spices. Serve chilled.
