Godet Antarctica is an unusual white cognac from France, which was inspired by one equally unusual voyage and breaking the world record. In March 2008, Jean Jacques Godet set sail on a yacht bound for Antarctica in the company of another 10 members. Their voyage ended with mooring on the Antarctic continent 70 ° south of the equator . The small yacht they sailed on had never reached a similar advanced level before. The record has been broken.
In honor of this success, Godet Winery created a unique Eaux de Vie upon their return inspired by the purity and beauty of Antarctica. Only the Folle Blanche grape variety was used for the distillation. The white color was achieved thanks to the natural filtration process. The result is cognac, which is a 99% mixture of cognac and 1% brandy. It matured in 100-year-old French oak barrels with the spirit of wine. Completely without tannins. Delicate, sensual, delicious and reflecting its icy pattern.
