21-year-old Glendronach whisky matures in a combination of sherry casks (Oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry). The result is a truly very good whisky.
Interestingly, this whisky has no political ties, as one might think from the name. "Parliament" in the name is a term for naming the ravens that live in the treetops near GlenDronach.
Aroma: gentle smoke with notes of lemon juice, cedar wood, apple peel, toast, earthiness, and a hint of freshly made espresso.
Taste: golden syrup, soft juicy raisins perfectly blend with bitter oak notes, peach, cherry blossom, cocoa, and pineapple melon.
Finish: sherry notes with a touch of sulfur, chocolate, juicy fruit, and spice
