Limited edition of aged single blended rum Foursquare Equipoise produced at the Foursquare distillery in Saint Philip, Barbados.
The rum blend is distilled in a double Coffey column still and a double retort still.
The rums were aged on-site at the Foursquare distillery for 14 years; 10 years in bourbon casks and 4 years in calvados casks.
You will be enchanted by the earthy aroma of chocolate truffles and Maduro cigars with subtle notes of apricots and orange blossoms preceding the rich fruity flavor that highlights caramelized orange and cocoa with a long-lasting leather and pipe tobacco finish.
No added sugar, colorants or other additives.
The Foursquare Exceptional Cask Series represents the most unique and sought-after rum from this famous distillery. Each release is hand-selected by Richard Seal himself, aiming to achieve balance according to the desired profile, resulting in distinct vintages.
Equipoise, meaning "a state of balance or equilibrium," is a dark and intriguing rum with bold complexity from start to finish.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 61% with a volume of 0.7 l.
