Foursquare 2011 Cask Strength
Foursquare 2011 Cask Strength Mark XXIV is a 12-year-old single blended rum from the Barbados distillery Foursquare. It was distilled using artistic pot still distillation, as well as traditional multi-column Coffey distillation from sugarcane molasses.
What’s most interesting about it is that it is the latest release belonging to the unique and rare rum edition Exceptional Cask Selections, personally selected by master distiller Richard Seal. It is his personal project of creating rums that are released to the world only when he feels they have reached extraordinary quality. These rums are one of a kind, available only for a short time, and represent a truly remarkable approach to blending and aging rums.
The rum Foursquare 2011 Cask Strength Mark XXIV aged in the tropical climate of Barbados for a long 12 years, in a combination of first, second, and third-fill bourbon casks. It is an overproof rum bottled at a higher 60% alcohol content.
Uncolored. No added sugar or additives. Unfiltered.
Distilled, aged, blended, and bottled entirely on the island of Barbados.
