Filliers Dry Gin 28, originally created by Firmin Filliers in 1928, contains 28 ingredients besides juniper. It is a gin produced in copper pot stills in small batches. The Filliers family has been making jenever, the predecessor of gin, in Belgium since the 19th century, and adding gin to their repertoire was probably the next logical step. Today, their gin is still made from a secret blend of citrus fruits, herbs, and roots.
Aroma: lemon and orange peel alongside juniper. A hint of cardamom and fresh coriander.
Taste: more citrus alongside the dominant flavor of juniper. A bit creamy, gradually fading.
Finish: warming and dry.
