Don Pepe Castillo Caturra 500 g
This select coffee, Don Pepe Castillo Caturra, comes from the Quindío region in the heart of the Colombian Andes. It is grown in high mountain conditions at an altitude of 1,380–1,810 meters above sea level, which ensures slow ripening of the cherries and a complex flavor profile.
The combination of the Castillo and Caturra varieties brings stable quality, resistance and exceptional sensory properties. The coffee is processed using the washed method, which emphasizes the purity of flavors and fresh acidity.
Don Pepe Castillo – Caturra offers an attractive flavor palette with notes of panela (cane sugar), nuts, sugar cane, and chocolate. It is a coffee with a harmonious body, a pleasantly sweet aftertaste, and a delicate nutty aroma that will be appreciated by lovers of medium-roasted beans.
It is well-balanced in the cup and its profile is suitable for everyday drinking, but at the same time it surprises with deeper layers of flavor.
The coffee is 100 % Arabica and is suitable for espresso, but also for alternative methods such as a moka pot or French press. Thanks to its medium light to medium roast, it retains its fruity notes and sweet chocolate-nutty component.
For the full flavor experience, we recommend adjusting the grind according to the preparation method and using water at a temperature of approximately 92 – 94 °C. The result is a balanced cup with a clean profile and a delicate aftertaste.
The coffee is distributed by ST. Nicolaus in 500 g packages.
