Don Pepe Castillo Caturra 500 g
This selected coffee Don Pepe Castillo Caturra comes from the region Quindío in the heart of the Colombian Andes. It is grown in high-altitude conditions at an elevation of 1,380 – 1,810 m above sea level, which ensures slow ripening of the cherries and a complex flavor profile.
The combination of Castillo and Caturra varieties brings stable quality, resilience, and exceptional sensory characteristics. The coffee is processed using the washed method, which highlights the clarity of flavors and fresh acidity.
Don Pepe Castillo – Caturra offers an attractive flavor palette with notes of panela (raw cane sugar), nuts, cane sugar, and chocolate. It is a coffee with a harmonious body, pleasantly sweet aftertaste, and delicate nutty aroma, appreciated by lovers of medium-roasted beans.
In the cup, it feels balanced and its profile is suitable for everyday drinking, yet it surprises with deeper layers of flavors.
The coffee is 100% Arabica and is suitable for espresso preparation, as well as alternative methods like a moka pot or French press. Thanks to the medium-light to medium roasting, it retains fruity notes along with a sweet chocolate-nut component.
To achieve a full flavor experience, we recommend adjusting the grind according to the preparation method and using water at a temperature of approximately 92 – 94 °C. The result is a balanced cup with a clean profile and subtle aftertaste.
The coffee is distributed by ST. Nicolaus in a 500 g package.
