Description
Darkness brings independently the filling of a Scottish single mortar from Speyside distilled in a brilliant Benrinnes distillery. The single malt whiskey matured for 13 years, including final maturation in octave barrels after Pedro-Ximénez sherry. Benrinnes was filled with a strength of 51.1% and each bottle is numbered.
Aroma: peanuts with chocolate, coffee beans, dates, maple syrup
Taste: oatmeal cookies, rich tones of sherry and stewed fruit, cloves, butter
Conclusion: fine smoke with persistent sherry
