Darkness brings independent bottling of a Scottish single malt from Speyside distilled at the brilliant Benrinnes distillery. This single malt whisky aged for a full 13 years, including final maturation in Pedro-Ximénez sherry octave casks. Benrinnes was bottled at 51.1% ABV and each bottle is numbered.
Aroma: peanuts with chocolate, coffee beans, dates, maple syrup
Taste: oatmeal cookies, rich notes of sherry and stewed fruit, clove, butter
Finish: gentle smoke with lingering sherry
