Compañero Elixir Extra is a fantastic blended rum with an intriguing story. It is an experimental mix of two of the most popular Compañero rums, which are Elixir Orange with orange flavor and 12-Year-Old Extra Anejo.
A few years ago at a rum festival, an unknown person stopped by the Compañero booth, tasted Compañero Elixir Orange and Extra Anejo. After the tasting, he took both glasses and poured them into one, and the result was fantastic! Subsequently, all the staff tried it and immediately fell in love with it.
This year, the distillery decided to create an official version of this “festival specialty” in the form of a limited edition with a limited number of bottles 9,778! The bottle features a label created by combining the designs of these two rums.

Aroma: cocoa, orange, flowers, chocolate, wood
Taste: smooth, oranges, chocolate, mint, nuts
