Description
Genuine fruit spirit Chateau Selešt'any Hontianska parádna Hruškovica is made from ripe pears, which are harvested and fermented, allowing their sugars to be converted into alcohol. Distillation, a process which separates the alcohol from the fermented pears, is then carried out. The distillate is then diluted to the desired strength of 45 %.
In 2013, Chateau Selestany launched the production of real spirits in a fruit distillery and grower distillery under the auspices of their friend Gabe Karlin. We recommend serving Hruskovica as an aperitif or digestif after a good meal.
