Chairman's Reserve Vintage 2011 is an exceptional rum from the St. Lucia Distillers on the island of Saint Lucia. This rum was distilled in 2011 and aged 11 years in ex-bourbon casks, which gives it depth and complexity.
During the aging process, various distillation methods were used, including the Coffey column still, the copper pot still John Dore 2, and the copper hybrid still Vendome. After aging, the individual distillates were blended under the supervision of the Master Blender - Deny Duplessis.
The aromatic profile of this rum is rich in notes of charcoal, menthol, and dry tobacco. On the palate, flavors of spice and cherries develop, leading to a finish with hints of bitters, white flowers, and dark chocolate. With an alcohol content of 46.8%, this rum is full-bodied and intense while maintaining a balanced complexity.
