The luxurious ultra premium A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra Very Rare rum is among the best that can be found in the world of rums.
The name is inspired by ancient mythology and comes from the Pillars of Hercules near the Strait of Gibraltar, which mark the boundaries of the known world. These pillars bore the Latin inscription "Non Plus Ultra" (translated as "nothing further") as a warning to sailors not to venture into the unknown world.
Today, this name is exclusively borne by the finest and most exceptional rum produced by the A.H. Riise brand. Inside a beautifully faceted decanter lies ultra premium rum, which is a true masterpiece of the Master Distiller and can only be crafted from the best drops of the highest class rum from the oldest and most exceptional barrels of A.H. Riise. Therefore, it is available only in limited quantities, with only 3000 bottles produced each year.
A.H. Riise La Galante is a luxurious and extravagant blended rum from the ultimate edition of the Non Plus Ultra series. The foundation of this rum is, of course, based on the excellent original A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra.
The name "La Galante" was named after Columbus's ship Santa Maria La Galante, which he commanded when he discovered St. Croix and the West Indies. This exclusive blend was created by the Master Distiller using the finest rums from the West Indies and Central America. Each barrel of rum used in the blend was carefully selected to capture the essence of the West Indies and the flora of the islands.
Finally, the rum is filled into beautiful glass decanters that enhance the impression of this exceptionally tasty rum. The decanters are presented in a blue-gold gift box, which features Columbus's ship at sea.
