Brugal Collección Visionaria Edición 1 is an exclusive limited edition that embodies Brugal's visionary spirit and 135 years of rum-making experience.

The rums are 100 % Dominican and this collection is no exception. Carefully selected with the finest natural ingredients to create the most authentic premium rums. For this first edition, the island's most precious treasures, cocoa beans, were hand selected and filled the barrels with their distinctive nutty, velvety and fruity aromas.

For Edición 01, the barrel masters toasted the barrels with the cocoa beans, infusing the wood with their aromatic qualities. The cocoa beans are then removed, leaving behind an enticing aroma. The barrels are then ready to be filled. This technique is called Aromatic Cask Toasting.

Colección Visionaria is aged in expertly selected barrels of virgin European oak to develop the characteristic rich and complex flavours of the rum. For more than 135 years, skilled rum masters have used time-honoured techniques perfected over generations to achieve the perfect balance between climate, wood and time.

Bottles are bottled at 45 % alcohol and come in a gift box.
