This rum is made from virgin sugar cane honey and aged in five different types of barrels: American whiskey barrels, re-charred American whiskey barrels, sherry barrels, port wine barrels, and finally tequila barrels.
The result is a complex and balanced rum with a deep aroma of burnt oak and subtle notes of agave, vanilla and lemon. On the palate, it offers a harmonious combination of agave and burnt oak with a hint of lemon, while the finish is long and smooth with lingering notes of nuts and sweet spices.
