Black Tot 50th Anniversary is a special edition of Black Tot navy rum, created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Black Tot Day. It contains a blend of molasses rums from Guyana, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad, and a so-called World Blend of various rums from around the world. These rums have aged in different types of casks, both in tropical and temperate continental conditions. Various distillation equipment was used to create this exceptionally delicious blend, including the historic column still and wooden pot still in Guyana.
Upon tasting, this rum reveals various layers of flavors, including sweet licorice, vanilla pods, limes, bitter chocolate, brandy-soaked pears, and mint.
