July 31, 1970 marked the end of a centuries-old tradition of daily rum rations in the navy. This day became known as Black Tot Day. The story of this company began 11 years ago when the original naval rum from Jamaica, Guyana, and Barbados was discovered in the hold of ships in Great Britain after more than 40 years. In 2011, this rum was bottled and named Black Tot Last Consignment, which translates to "the last consignment."

Today, Black Tot creates great rum, following this tradition, by blending Barbados, Guyana, and Jamaica. It is complex and distinctly different from other rums. A rum you will remember forever.
