Bacoo Rum rests for 11 years in the warm climate of the Dominican Republic. Colonial distillation from fresh molasses, then aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The name comes from the Caribbean legend of Bacoo, which is similar to a genie in a bottle. Although you'll only find good rum in this one.

The Bacoo brand produces rums in the Dominican Republic, where quality, consistency and character guarantee a well-made rum. Most big rum brands import cane juice and molasses from other parts of the world for production, but Bacoo is grown and produced on a beautiful island in the Dominican Republic, where all parts of production take place - from growing the sugar cane, to harvesting and processing, to distillation, aging and bottling.
