Whisky Arran Machrie Moor 10 Year Old Peated Lochranza is fully matured in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 46 % alcohol content, without chill filtration or added colorants.
With a phenol content of 20 ppm, it offers a delicate yet distinctive peaty profile that complements the typical freshness and fruitiness of Lochranza distillery whiskies.
The name Machrie Moor is inspired by the peat bog of the same name on the west coast of the Isle of Arran, where, according to legend, the giant Fingal tied his favorite dog to one of the many stone circles.
This whisky is ideal for lovers of peaty single malts who are looking for a balanced and complex drink with a subtle smoky character.
