Akori Cherry Blossom

Akori Cherry Blossom may seem like a Japanese gin at first glance, but it's a gin from Spain inspired by Japan. The gin is produced by the family-owned company Destilerías Campeny, which is committed to a high level of quality.

The gin is a blend of rice distillate, to which various Japanese aromatic botanicals are added in addition to juniper, the most prominent of which is cherry blossom.

The aroma is fresh and citrusy, with an intense juniper scent and hints of citrus peel. The taste is also intense and well balanced with a combination of juniper, subtle notes of pitahaya (dragon fruit), lemony notes of kumquat (a type of citrus). It is also subtly spicy thanks to the ginger and is in perfect harmony with the cherry blossom.

The bottles were filled at 40 % alcohol and the volume is 0,7 l.

The gin is recommended to be served on the rocks accompanied by tonic and lime or lemon or as part of a variety of mixed drinks.
