Absolut Warhol Limited Edition
The limited edition vodka Absolut Warhol celebrates the iconic connection between the brand Absolut and pop-art artist Andy Warhol, who created a unique interpretation of the Absolut bottle in 1985.
This new design brings to life Warhol's work titled "Absolut Blue," rediscovered in 2020. The bottle features intense blue brush strokes that are precisely applied in multiple layers of screen printing, achieving a textured, hand-painted effect true to Warhol's original.
With this design, Absolut pays tribute to Warhol's creativity, and the bottle is additionally complemented by a QR code, which provides customers with a recipe for the special Warhol Milk Punch cocktail – a blend of Absolut vodka, cocoa butter, banana liqueur, lemon juice, and cornflakes-flavored milk. This unique cocktail is inspired by Warhol's love for sweets and creative flavors.
Absolut vodka was born from Swedish vodka-making tradition and a commitment to the source and community. It is made using winter wheat from the area around the town of Åhus in southern Sweden. The fertile fields in southern Sweden are ideal for growing wheat, with yields approximately twice the global average for wheat production.
Water for production is always sourced locally from their own wells, which are over 140 meters deep. The water is filtered through Swedish bedrock for thousands of years, providing a natural mouthfeel that cannot be replicated in a lab. After all, 60% of vodka is pure water.
