A.H. Riise Centennial Celebration
The AH Riise Centennial Celebration is a limited edition special rum on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the handover of the former Danish colonized islands to the United States on March 31, 1917. Only 10,000 bottles were produced to commemorate this special event.
Each bottle is individually numbered and has the shape of a representative design-clean carafe. Centennial is a unique blend of rums pumped from the oldest, most expensive and most valuable rum barrels, including PX, Oloroso Sherry and Portský barrels.
Color: light mahogany
Aroma: canned fruit, butter biscuits and metallic tones of copper
Taste: oak and old leather, intense tones of sherry and sweetness of port wine
Conclusion: long with a surprising hint of mint and créme brulée
