Yellowstone Small Batch 6 Year Old

Bourbon Yellowstone Small Batch 6 Year Old comes from Limestone Branch Distillery in Kentucky and is designed as an exceptional “Small Batch” edition, with a clearly declared age and emphasis on flavor development. The color has a rich shade of deep amber with slightly honey-yellow and caramel reflections.

The aroma features caramel, vanilla, fresh corn (“yellow corn”), hints of chocolate and wood, occasionally with subtle gloomy notes of smoke or burnt wood.

The taste is full, robust, sweet-woody: it starts with a pronounced dose of caramel and honey, then moves into notes of cherries and vanilla pudding, accompanied by spicy accents like black pepper and cinnamon. Excellent gradation of flavor between sweetness and woody tannins that give structure to the flavor profile. The finish is long, slightly sharp, with a lingering spiciness, oak wood, and sweet caramel – a pleasantly warming end.

We recommend serving it best neat at room temperature, in a typical bourbon glass / Glencairn, possibly with a few drops of water to open up the aroma. It also works well on the “rocks” (on ice) if you want to soften the intensity of the alcohol and highlight the sweeter and woodier notes.
