White Heather 21 Year Old

White Heather is a 21-year-old Scottish blended whisky. It is a limited edition available only in 2000 bottles worldwide. Behind it is the legendary master distiller Billy Walker, who has been in the whisky world for 50 years. In the production of this whisky, he blended the finest single malt and grain whiskies from various regions of Scotland. The result is an expertly crafted and unusually rare Scottish blended whisky, consisting of 53% grain whisky and 47% malt whisky (the malt portion specifically includes: 20% Highland, 23% Speyside, and 4% Islay whisky, each of which distinctly influences the resulting sweet-smoky-peaty flavor profile).

This whisky first aged for 18 years in first-fill and second-fill American oak barrels and in Spanish oak casks previously used for sherry. Subsequently, Billy Walker blended the contents of the casks and allowed it to mature for another 3 years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, Oloroso sherry casks, and medium-charred Appalachian virgin oak barrels.
