Timorous Beastie 18 Year Old

Limited Edition Scottish 18-Year-Old Blended Malt Whisky Timorous Beastie. Produced at the Douglas Laing & Co distillery with a 74-year tradition. It joins the ranks of Big Peat and Scallywag and is made exclusively from whiskies aged a minimum of 18 years from the Highland region, sourced from distilleries such as Dalmore, Glen Garioch, Glengoyne.

The name pays homage to the poem by Robert Burns. The mouse in the poem “To a Mouse” is shy and small, but this whisky is the exact opposite! Only 7258 bottles were produced! No chill filtration and no added coloring.

Aroma: honey, apricot, spice, vanilla, barley
Taste: plum, blackberry, vanilla, honey, spice, barley
Finish: spice, chocolate, ice cream
Overall Impression: an old beast, but still lively and energetic
