Timorous Beastie 18 Year Old

Limited edition Scottish 18-year-old Blended Malt whisky Timorous Beastie. It is produced in the Douglas Laing & Co distillery with a 74-year tradition. It joins the Big Peat and Scallywag lines and is made exclusively from at least 18-year-old Highland whiskies from distilleries such as Dalmore, Glen Garioch, Glengoyne.

The title is a homage to a poem by Robert Burns. The mouse is shy and tiny in the poem "To a Mouse", but this whisky is the exact opposite! Only 7258 bottles were produced! Without cold filtration and added dye.

Aroma: honey, apricot, pepper, vanilla, barley
Taste: plums, blackberries, vanilla, honey, spices, barley
Finish: spices, chocolate, ice cream
Overall impression: old beasts, but still alive and energetic
