Description
The Irishman Founder's Reserve Marsala Cask Finish is a premium Irish whiskey created by the brand's founder Bernard Walsh. It was created by a combination of 70% single malt whiskey and 30% single pot still whiskey , which together matured for 12 months in special wooden barrels of Marsala wine from the picturesque Florio winery in Sicily.
Each bottle is packed in a gift box, numbered separately and signed by Bernard Walsh.
Aroma: flashes of Marsala wine, spices, vanilla, summer fruits
Taste: subtle tones of barley malt, red berries passing into tones of flowers and wood soaked in bourbon
Conclusion: great and reminiscent of Italian summers, smelling hazelnuts, sweet nougat and woody tones of oak wood
