The Irishman Founder’s Reserve Marsala Cask Finish is a premium Irish whiskey created by the brand's founder, Bernard Walsh. It is made from a blend of 70% single malt whiskey and 30% single pot still whiskey, which aged together for 12 months in special wooden Marsala wine casks from the picturesque Florio winery in Sicily.
Each bottle is packaged in a gift box, individually numbered, and signed by Bernard Walsh.
Aroma: hints of Marsala wine, spices, vanilla, summer fruits
Taste: delicate notes of barley malt, red berry fruit transitioning to floral and bourbon-soaked wood tones
Finish: excellent and reminiscent of Italian summers, with notes of hazelnuts, sweet nougat, and woody oak tones
