31-year edition of the Scottish Single Grain whiskey from the Strathclyde distillery from the independent filler That Boutique-y Whiskey Company. Batch 4 is a release of 417 bottles.

Roasting or charring the inside of the barrels changes the chemical composition of the wood. Some of you may want to understand all the reactions that take place here and how they lead to the delicious flavors of your whiskey. (You can find all this on the label.) And for those who are less interested in scientific explanation, suffice it to say that "fire has done it good."

Aroma: light and tropical with lots of pineapple and bananas, a hint of vanilla ice cream, honey and mineral background
Taste: slightly greasy, flowers, honey, cereal tones, sharpness of dried oak, candied citrus peel along the vanilla teat
Conclusion: creamy banana milkshake, white pepper and caramel sweetness
