The one on this bottle of Trinidad rum depicts a time portal allowing a glimpse into the past of Mr. Fernandes, the master distiller of Fernandes Distillers. In 1932, a great fire destroyed the State rum stocks of Trinidad and Tobago. Mr. Fernandes then purchased the barrels of rum that were salvaged, only to discover, much to his surprise, that they contained incredibly delicious vintage rum.

Following his example, TDL Fernandes, Trinidad 19y was produced as a high-proof 57.7% molasses rum. This is the first batch (batch 1), from which only 522 bottles were made. This heavy Trinidad rum aged for up to 19 years, giving it a beautifully balanced and gradually evolving flavor today. Suitable for fans of Trinidad rums.
