Taylor's 40 Year Old Tawny Port
Taylor's Old Tawny Port is a limited edition of 40-year-old very rare Portuguese port made from a blend of several high-quality red wines. The wines come from the Douro valley, where they aged for 40 years in seasonal oak casks, gaining a spicy aroma and a flavor full of fruity notes.
Aging took place in the cellars of Taylor Fladgate in Vila Nova de Gaia. The cool and humid coastal climate here supports a slow and gentle aging process that creates aromas of great complexity and finesse. The wines were then blended together for several months to achieve perfect balance. Store the port upright and protect it from light.
We recommend serving at a temperature of 12 ºC to 16 ºC. It pairs well with grilled dishes, smoked cheese, and fish. The bottle comes in a black-and-white gift packaging. No decanting is required. Only a limited number of bottles were produced!
