Description
Fresh and fruity whisky from the Yamazaki distillery is full of red fruits with a hint of sherry casks. The whisky is also a blended mix from Japanese mizunara oak casks, which adds a complex spiciness and deep character to the whisky.
Aroma: sherry notes dominate with strawberries and red fruits, smokiness of mizunara oaks, and a hint of coconut.
Taste: a plethora of red fruits, with hints of raspberries, strawberries, and even red currants. Recognizable are also white peach, a touch of wood and spice, garden notes of red cherries and candied fruits.
Finish: relatively long with echoes of vanilla and sweet spice.
